Great work, man. They look very professional and in general pretty rad. I'd love to see more of your work.

Hands down, best painted/drawn shoes I've seen.  The level of detail is amazing.  Having done a pair of shoes with fabric markers I can't imagine how you were able to do that.

Awesome!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

omg I am jealous of your feet.

I didn't even see the actual mention of Roy... I was looking at these and going "man this looks like a Lichtenstein!"  And it was.  Smiley  Good work!

Cheers guys!

In response to your questions:

They should withstand reasonably well to getting wet as I've ironed the canvas and sealed the ink in but I wouldn't recommend wearing them on a very wet day (which I wouldn't anyway because they're canvas and my feet would get wet). I can't tell you exactly, however, as I gave them away to a friend.

No, I didn't use a stencil, I just copied them freehand. It was easier than I expected, actually. And having fabric pens with fine nibs helped enormously.

I've got a few more pairs of canvas shoes (not exactly in the same style- these ones have rubber toe caps) that I want to decorate so if any of you lovely people have any ideas of designs/pieces of art/comic books I could draw on them, I would very much appreciate it.
