For these I bought some 3 Lonsdale "England" high tops.

Both had already been attacked with markers by the time I got my mits on them, some painted in black acrylic and one coloured in in permanent markers with UK SUBS logo.

So I got him to make a template for the checker print and glued the material onto the boots. Then I stuck on two Oi patches (luckily they matched each colour boot- a gigantic coincidence!) After that I put some eyelet tape down the back to cover the seams.

The fabric wasnt that keen to stick... so im going to get some fabric glue... or some super sharp needles and sew it on.

They turned out pretty cool  Grin

Feedback very much appreciated

i love them. it may be a pain in the butt, but they'd be sooo cool if you sewed them instead of gluing them. but then again, i have a 7 month old, and i don't think i'll ever have time to hand sew anything ever again, i don't know why i expect anyone else to have the time!
 either way, they rule!
