Yay!  I actually purchased earrings just like this years ago.  Mine had an image of the statue of liberty.  I'm pretty sure it was black and white film though.  I think images of scissors or other crafty goods would be cute too.

these are all gr8 ideas! I tried to make one ear Big Ben and the other the London BRIDGE FROM MY trip to england(sry bout those caps), but my mom saw wat i was doing aand said no because i might need themm later or something  like that
You could take an existing picture or print one out and modpodge it to the back so it shows through. I think thatd be super cute

yeah, needless to say, if you haven't got back-up copies of them negatives, don't chop 'em up, or expose them to light! you don't wanna lose your precious photo-memories.

it probably would be a better idea to use blank film and draw/glue tiny pictures on the back. I know I've drawn on blank film with permanent black marker before, that looks pretty cool.

another idea might be to put little shapes (like heart or star shaped sequins?) on the back and spraypaint over them, so when you take the (loose) shapes off you've got an image left on the film.
