I *almost* sent today  Sad

Great assortment!  I love the variety that shows up in these packages.

My hubby took packages to the post office, but used the kiosk and realized that he had hit the wrong button and got postage, but no DC.  So, I'll have to take it to the PO Monday and add in DC.

I originally read the info on this post to say the envelope had to be 4 inches thick (instead of 3/4") - so I just kept collecting.  Then of course, I couldn't get it all in the package (even though I used a bigger envelope).

So, since I had that bonus envelope from calluna, I just put the extras in that and sent it back to her.  That one got sent today, as I told my hubby it didn't need the DC.

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

And I'm supposed to be Madame Organizer-she who is perfect Undecided
Apparently DH doesn't understand that!

hahaha - glad I'm not othe only one.  I have to say, I KNOW it's only becuase I told mine SO many times that I had to have the DC number that he didn't just send it without it.

Seriously, I must have repeated it at least 10 times before he left the house - even making him write down "delivery confirmation" so he wouldn't forget.  And he was about to put it in the slot and then thought he'd better call me and check first.

He's cute - but needs explicit directions at all times.   Grin

I just got my bonus swap package from KarenLouiseM; very exciting! And good stuff! ("Stuff" is both a noun and a verb, in this case - the envelope was crammed full! Cheesy)

Here's a sampling:
Beads, buttons, metallic confetti shapes, earrings, and so on.
Some great Halloween doodads, including a tiny Frankenstein monster-head tree ornament! He can just stay out on display from October thru December!
Lots and lots of cards and pieces from board games, card games, trivia games etc. Yes, that IS a card Backstreet Boys Around the World game, which I didn't know about before since I was never a fan but it's quite funny. And the Ungame, which I always liked.
And then there's the background paper, wrapping paper, and wallpaper assortment...Very very cool. I was so happy to get Mac-n-cheese paper, you have no idea  Smiley. And that one in the front is actually folded up, it's of various old scenes from around the U.S. It's a close 2nd in my book behind the macaroni and cheese paper.  Grin

Also included:
- flash cards for math and chemistry
- wood blocks
- pages from old books and comics
- multiple postcards of art and places
- a cd of copyright-free images

I tell ya, if paper/ephemera were money, I would be rich in more than spirit...but I'm very happy with what I have, in the meanwhile.  Smiley  Thank you KarenLouise!

Great "stuff" and I love the Backstreet Boys card-too funny. My oldest daughter is very embarrassed that she was quite a fan of theirs when she was 8 years old Smiley
