I'm freakin' out here - my sewing machine broke.  Broke!  I have appliques to do here, people!

(so instead of sending early, will be on time... running out to repair shop now...)

That's so bad for your sewing machine !

Ok, I finished the last item by hand last night (I have suffered enough in the hands of my own sewing machine, who eats up thread) and now I'm ready to send.

Hope it's all fixed now vegbee, for your sanity if not the appliqués! Wink

I was done, but had another idea overnight so I'm just going to fit that in before I send. No doubt I'll be on the last minute at this rate!

Machine should be operational now.  I just had to repair the cord - exposed raw wire attached to electrical outlet aside - and I'm about to go check.

You know, funny, how my house can fall apart around me and I'm all, 'eh, whatever,' but a broken sewing machine is fixed within 24 hours accompanied by emotions similar to having a child in the hospital.  Out of whack priorities, anyone?

LOL- that happened to me last Discworld swap... and I was screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". The Mister came running in to see what was the matter, and when I told him that my sewing machine broke he said "Oh, I thought it was something important."

I started scheming on his D&D books right then and there Wink

2/18/12 - I no longer have the directions for wrapped pens, I lost them several years ago. To obtain them for yourself, do like I did, contact DMC threads directly and ask for them.
