The yarn was Red Heart Super Saver in red. The button was painted with my nail polish and I like how it breaks up the colour some.

What do you kids think?

I have steered away from knitting that pattern because I wasn't sure how closely the scarf would hug my neck. But yours doesn't seem to be letting any cold air in, so maybe I will try it.

The trick is to just place the button higher if you want a snugger fit, lower for a looser one. I placed that thing like 4 times before settling on a spot.
