I think it's ok if people still make pouches and things like that to send the tins in BUT things like balls of yarn etc - unless they fit in the tin! are a no no.

Oh! I received my tin today from Feast Your Eyes - I love getting packages at work.

I lol'd when I opened it. She chose my lolcat theme and added in my Maneki Neko as well. She managed to fit quite a bit of goodies in that tin.

There are two shrinky maneki neko magnets, adorable beads (glass cat faces, a metal cat face, pink hearts and red metal flowers), a wooden domino with a dragon carved into one side and a pretty flower collaged on the other, with beads for the center, some lucky golden chocolate coins, a comb with a beaded flower on it, AND a cute collar for my cat with a bell. WOW! I've been wondering lately if I should collar him, in case he ever slips out of the house...you read my mind.

The pictures look all grainy because I'm stuck with the old camera at work, but Feast Your Eyes did such a nice job. The flower seems like it would take so long to weave!

Thanks again  Cheesy

I received my tin from alo42d today and boy was I spoiled!  She went with my Japanese theme and used some very pretty kimono-esque fabric!

Here's the tin:

I love its little bead feet!!

Here it is with all that was inside of it:

The little footprint stickers are in there because Sherlock Holmes was one of my other themes  Cheesy

I was just looking at a pair of earrings very similar to the purple mother of pearl button earrings she made for me -  these are so much better!

And here's a close up of the earrings/pendant set because I think it's my favorite thing aside from the tin itself:

I'd post close-ups of everything, because it's all so awesome, but I'm afraid I'm already going overboard  Tongue

Also in the box were ~

As if the tin and everything inside wasn't enough!   Shocked  I love it all!

Thanks alo42d!!

Yay, so I haven't officially broken the rules on my first swap. But I made the littler bag for protection in the mail, you know? Wink

Also, I love the Japanese tin! Very creative and very pretty!

The maneki neko LOLcat tin is awesome! I think it's hilarious that two of us actually listed lolcats as a theme Smiley
