thanks everyone. i had a blast making it. and i love all the tins posted so far. i received mine this evening and will be posting pics tomorrow. thanks casslyra.

how did you make the heart??

i found a set of black heart earrings at walmart (on sale!), disassembled them, drilled a couple of holes, painted some blood and added a seed bead in each hole to give it some sparkle.

Everything looks great so far! That cat tin is definitely close to my heart, and ashestoashes - I listed lolcats as one of my themes, too - can't wait to see when I receive which theme(s) are there.

I'm also impressed that the smurf village survived the mailing. Nosusanfx - your vampire tin is hot! My favorite part is the bite marks.  Shocked

All the tins are so fantastic!  I really adore that cat tin, though.    So cute!  I can't wait for my tin to get here!

ok, i changed my mind. i'll go ahead and post this evening since hubby has the "good" camera at work. let me apologize ahead of time. Smiley sorry for the crappy camera phone photos. casslyra went with a few of my themes. mainly my love of bostons...got two of the rascals.

to have them this small again.

she said she was trying to go with the pez theme but couldn't get it to work. so she included some in the tin. along with a cute bar of panda soap, apple cinnamon lip balm, paw print stickers and a little duckie.

thanks again casslyra!

i wanted to include a pic of my little buggers! i'm a proud momma!

dizzylizzy asked me to post pictures of the tin I sent her.

I drew on a couple of her themes: hearts, stripes, and cameos.

I found a striped magnet, a cameo pin, and had a bunch of heart stickers in my stash.

After stalking her a bit, I saw she wanted a tree of life necklace, so I researched different interpretations of it, and tried my hand at bending some wire. I had to squish it into the tin, but it should adjust back into the shape you'd like. I've never used jump rings to attach pendants before, but the outer edges will hopefully work if you want to do that.

I'm glad it found you in one piece, although none of it was really too fragile. I did have trouble on this swap with both of my tins, in terms of the box itself, and had to restart a few times. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end.

I had a hard time last round getting everything I wanted into the tin.  I just threw it in the box and said "enjoy!".  Rules are meant to be broken right?

Really nice tins everyone!  I'm thinking I should have mine today or tomorrow.  Can you believe I had absolutely NO mail yesterday at all?  The mailman just skipped right over our house!
