After finally finshing my irish hiking scarf (which seemed to take Years to make lol) i was itching for a quick knit. I had come across this cute owl cable hat a while back and had some yarn I had no project in mind for and wipped this baby up in two nights.

It was super easy and I think it turned out cute.  I didn't remember to bookmark the pattern or I would give it to everybody lol. sorry person who made the pattern Sad

That is the coolest thing ever!  And I went searching for the pattern as soon as I saw this post and found it: http://www.ruthieknits.com/owlhat.htm  I need to make this for my sister.  It's REALLY cute!   Cheesy

holy crap! Shocked that hat makes me want to sharpen my knitting skilz and maybe buy some double-pointed needles (it would call for those, wouldn't it?)

I'm going to look at that pattern...I've never seen a knit pattern worth making that I didn't think I could replicate with crochet *getting ready for new challenge*

thanks for sharing!

I was totally thinking about this Owlie hat since I tried cables yesterday on Fetching... this might be slated for my next project.  But first to complete the other hand for fetching.
