Ok I have lately become besotted with aprons, and drooling over the pics in Crafster is not helping....."wonders aloud if there is an apron anon meeting anywhere?"
Anyhoo, these are some small embroideries I have made recently to attach to ready made aprons, to help me get my "fix".
The designs are "Aunt Martha's" iron ons I found at "Spotlight",

Those are adorable! I love the expressions on their faces! I can't decide between the innocent looking girl with the cookies or the one concentrating intently on threading her needle. Good job!

Those are super cute. Your embroidery is great. I really like the way you attached the pieces to your apron. Did you turn under the edges and then just stitch them on? It looks really nice.

thanks for the kind comments!  Smiley
I was originally going to make the aprons but my local shop had them on sale with an oven mitt and matching tea towel, for $5.95 Aus, so couldnt resist.
And yes to attach them just ironed the seams under a tiny bit and stitched with the red embroidery thread.
Mine has been through the wash a couple of times and still looks the same, hasnt shrunk and the colours havent run.

Those are so cute! I especially like the first one, with the little girl concentrating and sticking her tongue out- I can relate! Cheesy
