When I started this it was a simple patchwork skirt for dd to wear with her cowgirl boots (she will correct you if you say cowboy).  Then it turned into a whole outfit. 

I took a pair of her old corduroy pants & cut them off short length & added the skirt to the now shorts.



Excuse her dorky face, she really just wanted to twirl.






And, oh yes, did I mention?  It twirls!

I didn't really use a pattern.  I think I used Vegbee's peasant top tute & I sorta used her patchwork skirt tute, but since I used a pair of cut off pants for the top, I changed it up some. 
The hat was a baby pattern from Simplicity, but again I changed it all up as I went along.
