I cheated a little, but I consider a baby a nice finished object, don't you?  You've listened to me complain enough, I figured it was only fair to share the result.  SO...

First FO:
Evangeline Quinn
9/6/07 7:30am (at home!  story is on my blog)
6 pounds 11 ounces
20 in long

Second FO:
Since she came so early, everything I had made for her was way too big! I knit up a premie sized hat real fast. Even the store bought hats were too big.

Pattern: Twinkle Premie Hat http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/twinkle-hat.html
Needles: size 4 dpn

Yarn: sorry, dont know! A very thin soft yarn that matches one of the few NB outfits that fits her

Mods: Instead of 8 repeats, I only did 5 or 6, I know it says premie hat, but even with just these few repeats taken out it is still a little big.

She was a little camera shy today. Plus her skin is peeling and red still. Someday she will be pretty!   There are better pictures on my blog.  Or will be in a few minutes.

Good work on both!

And I'm sure she's beautiful now  Cheesy

That hat pattern is really nice, I've been looking for a nice baby hat pattern.  I'll have to check it out.

congratulations. Our grandbaby-who is fine and now in kindergarten-was 2lbs. Wore clothes I had made for American Girl Doll. but ever since I have looked at Premie clothes. Wal Mart actually carries a lot. Basics. And of course in a week or two, Evangeline will be too big for them, and wearing all those wonderful things you have ready for her.

CONGRATULATIONS!  There is nothing like a new baby.  Enjoy every second of it, and take notes, it's amazing how time will fly and how much you will forget.  She is beautiful and the hat is darling.

Congratulations!!! Evangeline is such a pretty name. Is she Acadian by any chance?

ETA: Whoa! I just read your blog. When you said that you had her at home, I thought you meant "homebirth." Well, really CONGRATS! That little girl seems like a lucky charm.
