KatAutumn- Keep us posted on what she says.... We'll all be at that point soon enough. That's what you get for being a fast knitter - you find the problems first!  Wink Grin

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

cocodisle, yours is going to be beautiful. In fact, everyone's so far has been stunning. I'm just a few rows into the upper lace:

KatAutumn, I hope you get an answer about the pattern soon. Otherwise, I might just wing it.

Thanks. The picture really doesn't do it justice. I'm usually not a fan of sparkly novelty yarns, but this one has really worked up nicely. I'm really looking forward to getting it finished.

I like the four colours you've chosen KnittingBee - and I think you should use the darkest one (jelly bean) as the one colour strand.
Thanks April! I think you're right about the Jelly Bean too.

ok so have I been knitting this wrong? when you read a lace pattern in the round.. you read right to left on EVERY row, not switching right to left then left to right.. because its in the round? is that right?? and then when it is flat... then its right to left, and left to right.. and the lace pattern, every row is a right side row.. so when you see things like "k on right side, p on wrong side" you have to knit because every row is a right side. if I am all correct I have been knitting this wrong! (luckily I've only done a few lace repeats..) thanks!!!!

That's correct. In the round, every row is on the right side, so you follow the pattern right-to-left (for righties. I'm a lefty, so I follow it all backwards). If you've been doing the even rows as all knit, with a purl rib in between panels, you're still doing okay. If it doesn't look like that, you could either go with the lace pattern you've created Wink or you could rip and re-do.

The SWS is gorgeous, and it works up beautifully.  I've used it for several projects.... but be careful with your gauge.  Its really more of a worsted weight then a  bulky....
