I got my package from crumpet13 today!  Yippee Skippy!

Here we go:

Everything together

My favorite section of the Feminist Activity Book (I love the whole thing, actually!)

Cool brown handbag

Rosie the Riveter magnet and bad-ass pink ninja necklace

Yummy smelling cologne and lip gloss:

Books and photos of Liz Phair and Margaret Sanger (birth control pioneer-one of my heroes) and condoms.  They'd be more feminist if they were ribbed for my pleasure though.   Wink

Thanks crumpet13!  I feel more empowered all ready!

The final pic has a camille paglia voodoo doll and a flip book with about 100 woman quotes in it.  I think these are my fav items, but it is hard to pick.

That camille Paglia voodoo doll is just too funny. I gave it a "This Rocks".

There's been lots of amazing crafts in this swap. Well done everyone.

Yay and last but not least!!!  Halfway through this swap there was a major attack on the activist scene in New Zealand and a whole lot of people got arrested and threatened with terrorism charges.  Mostly indigenous, environmental, anarchist, feminist, peace activists.

My swap partner and I have mutual friends who were part of the crew that got arrested.  I am overseas now but my swap partner has been busy busy with all of the solidarity work to support the prisoners and the communities that they're from.

So I've been completely happy to wait for my package while there's been some more important work to do.

So here's my amazingly wonderful package which has completely made my day (and made me a bit homesick  Smiley )

This is the card with my lovely letter in it

I got two cushion covers which had a former life as an umbrella, a shirt and a lining of a skirt, yay for recycling.  And they go perfectly with my couch!
This is Emma Goldman

And this is a tribute to all the anonymous women activists who we don't know by name

This is what the other side of the covers looked like

I asked for a knitted thing (coz I can't knit) and got these super cool arm cuffs in anarchafem colours which are made of wool from one of our friends' grandmother. (sorry for the crap photo I was shaking with excitement!)

I got this awesome stencil art on some old wallpaper and I have a frame that it will go perfectly in.  This is definitely going in the craft room

This super cool book made from bits of old posters.  Perfect timing cause I've nearly run out of room in my crafty ideas book!
The outside

The inside

The wellington anarchafem crew put out a calendar every year and this year it's theme is women prisoners and I've been trying to figure out how to get a copy over here! Yay!

And a mix tape from my swap partners feminist radio show, fab!

One of our friends who got arrested wrote a zine while she was in prison and I got a copy.  I've already had a good read (and cry)

And finally a fem zine from Otautahi (Christchurch) which is cool cause I know heaps of those womyn too.

Definitely worth the wait!

Thanks anarkalilith for a beautiful package of inspirational joy!

Thanks everyone for a super inspiring, awesome revolutionary swap!
