Since everyone has the holidays on their mind lately  Grin I'm just starting this so we can figure out a timeline, see if anyone wants to organize, etc.

Here's 2005:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=58714.0

And 2006:

I liked that format too, with a decoration, a gift for someone else for your partner to give, a gift for your partner, and something to spread some holiday cheer.

I'm just putting this out there so anyone interested in setting it up can do so.  I don't have my heart set on organizing or anything, but if no one else wants to, I'll do it.

I think this would be a great swap to be involved with...maybe give a long sign up period and a long craft time?  even if in the end they're 4 small items, it's nice to have the time and the peace to craft..

Hm.. maybe. I'm debating on Christmas swaps! But I'll second the question: are you guys thinking more like the Craft my Christmas one (2005?) or the Happy Little Christmas one? (They were both quite a bit different!)

And I just noticed that I did the 2005 Craft my Christmas..and didn't even know! (Until I looked at the gallery and saw the stuff I got... ah.. I see.. haha)

The 2006 one had two extra items, I suppose, but the gift and decoration was the same.  I kinda like the idea of a decorative item, a gift for you partner to give, and a gift for your partner to open, personally.  That's three small/medium items, so that seems pretty low pressure, right?

I totally forget swaps that I've been in too, BTW   Cheesy

Craft my christmas is more of an ongoing swap where you make a list of gifts that you want to give ppl but cant make yourself, etc.

and the Happy little christmas swap was like this one I do believe.

When would ppl like to start signups and send out? I was thinking mid-late october, early nov, and send out the first week of december or so? I did the last swap like this last year and it was so much fun!

I dont know if I will have the time to organize this swap but if you need someone I'd be willing to do it! Smiley

i like the happy little christmas idea...is that what you're leaning toward, littlest ninja?

also, i've never organized a swap before, and i'm currently on my second and third swaps. could i help co-organize? i'd be happy to co-organize if you want the help so i can learn the ropes of organizing.
