Everything looks great this week. It seems everyone went for "soft and squishy" for this FF. Love it!

Here's my only contribution:

Red + Blue Mill Ends = Purple Single + Brown Llama Single = Grape Vine
I don't have yardage yet because it's not finished yet (almost, though).

Sooo...this is my first spinning attempt...my presentation isn't all that good, but I'm proud of it!  On to more even and prettier yarns!!!

BTW - all of the FF yarns are jealously b-e-a-utiful!

This isn't Kansas, and I'm not wearing red shoes.

Wow mandalinn - all your yarns are gorgeous!

Here's mine for this week.  It's mill ends dyed with Wilton's.  I'm calling it Strawberry Lemonade.

Technically it's Saturday morning... woops. And I forget to post here weekly so I end up building a huge backlog of stuff I'm spinning... woops again.

Apologies for pictures of not the best quality... it's hard to take em when it's, you know, 5 AM.

2 skeins, about worsted weight, calling it Quiet wool blend

3, this time a little heavier than worsted, Citrus (I'm oh-so-creative with my naming lately, really -_-) wool blend

2 skeins of sock yarn. Both from a merino/viscose blend that's hugely easy to spin. The back skein that looks grey? Started out dyed black, teal, pink, and green. I don't know how it ended up being mostly grey like that spun up, I guess the black subsumed everything.

Wool blend plied with thread. One of these has beads in it, though it's really hard to see. Dunno if I'll try making yarns with beads threaded in again or not, I don't really have an orifice big enough for it on my wheel, and it likes to get caught on the hooks, too.

(Closeup for beads)

And then these singles - dyed brown, turqoise, and purple

Are being plied into this, for more sock weight yarn. I probably dyed up like, 10oz of this, then split it evenly... couldn't even get all of the roving onto the bobbins, so I have more singles to spin before I can finish plying. The color washed out really bad on this picture....

Oh, my, Lyme. I saw your yarn and saw that you had an etsy store...and when the etsy window opened I started petting the screen, I swear. Alas, I am cheap and I've got no money...but it's so pretty! and I just want to look at it forever... ha. I love fiber friday this week! Snowberrylime, I like the rosewood and the blue one. I think it would make a great shawl. I like that there's lots of squishy looking yarn this week...I like art yarns, but then I think, what the heck am I going to do with it?

Everybodies yarn looks fantastic! I didn't get much spinning done this week. I had to have accupuncture on my forearms because they were really bothering me. Being a massage therapist, spinner, knitter, crotcheter, etc takes it's tole. But I will have something for next week.
