So this necklace is the first in a series of adjustable necklaces with an extra large toggle closure.

It's a new style that I've been playing around with.  I like it and I think it speaks well to my own personal style.

Here she is:

It's a pretty simple necklace and doesn't take much in way of construction.  If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask!

I think I'd like to try out a different chain just for something different.  Is anyone familiar with somewhere online to buy good quality chain at a decent price?

Wow... that is VERY pretty!  The shapes are quite visually pleasing and definitely remind me of fall and cider. Smiley

Does it "sit" well on you after you move around a bit?

Surprisingly it sits pretty well.  This one works best when it's worn closer to the neck.
I've since made another that's a very similar design, but the chain is a bit longer.  That one actually moves a bit better.

Could you explain how you did it, please? Smiley

Yes!  Absolutely!

Basically a jump ring connects the chain to the "toggle."
The beads are on headpins that are also connected to the chain by jump rings.
That's pretty much it!

So, in my brain that makes sense, but what I'll do is take some photos next time I put one together (probably tomorrow night).

I really like this idea!  this one is nice, but I think it would look even better with a little bit chunkier chain.  it would balance out the big toggle a little better, I think.  obviously you couldn't go too much bigger and still have it fit... but I think it would look really cool.

I love these colors, too!  very cool! Cheesy

WOW!  I've looked at this three times tonight.  The first time I thought "wow that's pretty."
The second time "I really like that. It's sooo pretty."
The third time I realized that the big square was a toggle and the the chain and beads go through it and I thought, "OMG!! I've got to have that!!"  Cheesy
