What do you mean, "it isn't supposed to explode"?

I've always been tempted to get some of those tiny exotic frogs as pets, but I'm afraid I would probably kill them (I'm not very good at touchy pet maintenance).  Now I can have a whole bunch of crochet ones instead!  Yay!

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but sticks and string excite me.

Got Wist?
I'm on Ravelry, and now, so are my stash and WIPs.  Makin' progress!

Hooray for the tutorial! Thank you so much for making it available! I am going to dig through my ample yarn stash and find the yarn for it. The only trick will be to find the eyes. I can't find colored eyes near me. Except for brown, which just won't do!
If you have no problems ordering online sunshinecrafts.com has great deals on eyes. I order from them frequently and usually buy in bulk. lol. But they also have smaller packages too and if you get to many you can always personal swap them with someone on craftster. Smiley

Lovely!  Very realistic looking (except for the texture of course - but it's weird that a crocheted animal can look so real).

I am so thrilled that you put up the tutorial!  Thank you!  Where I live we have a fair amount of cute little frogs, not as exotically colored as your little guy though.   I can't wait to make one!

Thanks! I'll definitely check this out in a few days. I have a ton of patterns I want to try, and the eyes can make or break them!
