I can't stop drawing circles! New shrinky necklaces

I do love a curved line. Here's proof:




They are all around 3" long and made from regular old shrink plastic and colored pencils. I use a coat of Folk Art Hi-Shine Glaze to protect them and get them shiny.

I need a name for the most colorful one if anybody wants to volunteer  suggestions...

I'm not normally a big fan this 'shrinky-dink' business, but I really like these. I really dig the first one.
Theres just something about circles...

The last one reminds me a little of cookies, or cookie dough or something sweet.
I could be way off with that one.

I'm a big fan of shrinky-dinks, and these are great! Just colored pencils, all the way through? The black lines look so sharp and fine...my sharpies and I are not getting along, so I am intrigued that yours look so crisp.  Care to offer any pointers? What brand pencil?

For the black I use a felt tip marker any brand would work I'm sure. The pencils, I use prismacolors, cause they're soft. And lots of sanding before either!

Oh i heart these.

Question: where do you get your shrink plastic?  I had some that was inkjet shrink plastic... but that's about it.  I follow your posts and love the shrink plastic stuff...

Also, would you think prismacolor markers would work for the color?  I have both pencils and markers (my mom spoils the hell out of me and I was a design student)... just wondering b/c you seem to be the expert!

I get my plastic on ebay. Whoever has the cheapest when I need it.
I've never used the inkjet kind but I think it's pretty much the same stuff. I don't see why you couldn't just draw on it? As for markers, I've only tried colored sharpies but no results I was happy with. I'm dying for new pencils. All I have left is little nubs in like 10 different colors.
