perfect travel project!

Here's what has been keeping my hands busy and my mind calm travelling to and from the hospital to visit my husband this week. I find it the perfect portable project! 4 made since Sunday, 1 already gifted 



[One of his nurses expressed an interest in learning crochet but was obviously too busy to sit with me so I could show her, I did manage to show her a foundation chain and single crochet but not enough time to get her started herself.

Wow, that's really cute. Looks simple too. What is it, two rows of dc-ch 1, and then scalloped around? You could get a lot of different looks with different yarns and different edgings too.

yeh WIPs, its my Happy Hooker obsession  I'm working on #7 now LOL ideal as stocking fillers or last minute b'day gifts.

Thanks for the good wishes Homebunnyj! I'm happy to report that he was allowed home yesterday afternoon, much to my immensr relief! and yep, you got it basically right but without the ch1  The pattern is also available on the bernat site free - apparently

Those are really cool. It would be nice to wear multiple ones together in different colors.

really cute, i love the colors, specially the blues
