Hi there!
I just made some hats for my baby girl so I thought it could be helpful for someone if I share this idea. The hat is totally easy to make and could be a good gift if you are in a hurry or just simply want to make something customized.

Lets see...

Okay, you start with a piece of some at least a little bit stretchy fabric. I made this one from heavy knitted fabric.

Pin parts as shown here and sew, best results on serger.

Prepare 2 ties approx. 20 cm long, finish their ends in the fire so that they won't frazzle. Pin them as shown.

After sewing of all parts (shown bellow), turn the feelers right side is up. Sew the bottom so that it makes a circle.

Turn the bottom right side up and place the feelers inside the hat and sew the top of the hat.

Attach the bottom to the finished top, in case of problems, use the marks in the pattern (A, B).

Finished hat.

I also added some hot-fix stones to make it special.

And finally here goes the pattern.

I am European so I use metric measurements...hope you can handle.
Till next time.

Thanks for the tutorial!  It's completely adorable, and it looks like it could be quite warm too.
