Her first toe up socks!

Are the ends weaved in? No.

Are there still holes to be patched up from the heel turn? Yes.

Are they my size? No.

Have I been wearing them since she gave them to me? Heck yeah!!

They're made with Paton's Classic Wool in Navy which is comfy, warm, and fun to wear right after a shower. Wool is yummy.

Oh, that's cool! Did she find them easy? Are you teaching her to knit? Tell me more! Smiley

I was teaching her the toe up technique, which is my favourite because top down I get bored with the cuff and stop. She has a disease called Scleroderma which affects her hands and we use knitting to keep her from losing them.

Two-generational knitting is so great. I've inspired my mum to take up knitting again after about a 20-year interval. I've never tackled socks though....well done!

It's more than 2 generations. It was my gramma and great-gramma who got me started on it. =D It's awesome to have something with the family, and my future little monster is probably gonna learn it the same way I did. Even my hubby knits now and he's addicted to socks as well.
