Sakura to Sakuranbo GALLERY! (cherries and cherry blossoms)

Our Madame Organizer asked me to post so you guys can see what I made before the gallery gets end-of-swap quiet!  I sensed early on that this was probably going to be my first time getting flaked on...and it was. I wish my former partner well, but she kind of vanished, which made crafting a bit of a challenge and not always motivating.  But I think they turned out well, and so my kind angel gets these things! 

Some cherry branch in full bloom earrings...these are such pretty beads, but didn't photograph well.  You get the picture of the technique, though.


Shrinky dink pendant of cherry blossoms...the chain is being swapped out to match more of what I think is my angel's taste.  I finally got my sealing technique down!


My first felting project! Now I see why people like it so much! This is 50% llama and 50% merino, and felted so nicely.  The clasp is magnetic- I liked how that gave it a soft look, like there isn't a clasp.

Thanks! I actually already had the cherry blossom stamp, but I like the hand drawn look better, so I stamped on paper and then traced with Sharpie on the non-frosted side, and then colored in pencil on the frosted side. Gives it a slight 3-D look.

wiseowl is lucky, really. I just read that she got flaked on, and if you hadn´t offered to be her angel, i would have.
