I like it!  It is a little roomy, but she'll be able to grow into it which means it will last longer. 

For the sleeves, I would do a button type tack thingy.  That way you don't have to take the stitching out when her arms grow and you need to let down the sleeves.  Those type of finishing touches makes it extra special, although it already is.  Great job!

That is absolutely beautiful. I love the fabric and I'm quite envious of the price, 2.00 a yard for cotton velveteen?! The gores really set it off and I actually like the loose fit.
