I started this hat back in June and had finished everything except the tassel and sewing on the button within 2 days of starting it.  For some reason I just couldn't force myself to finish it!  However, I've got the finishing bug and finally whipped this sucker out and finished it.  I think the hat turned out cute, but I think my model is even cuter.  Cheesy

I used the crochet pixie hat pattern from sweaterbabe.com.  The pattern is free: http://www.sweaterbabe.com/product_cp18.htm  It was a relatively easy project--you just have to make sure that you count your stitches really carefully in the beginning because the stitch pattern makes it easy to miss some of your stitches, and then you would have to start over (I know because that's what happened to me)!
I used 1 skein of Bernat Satin in the Bermuda colorway.  I wouldn't use this yarn next time as it is very splitty, which was a pain.  Something sturdier would be better.  The pattern suggests using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, which would definitely be easier to use.

Thanks guys!  It's always nice to know that objective viewers think your baby is cute, because as her biased mother of course I think she's cute.  Cheesy
