I've sent in my info...so hopefully I'll get in. My last swap was kind of a flop too so I am looking forward to this one. How can you go wrong with chocolate?

In England there is a lovely chocolate called a Flake (don't know if other countries have it too?)  That's the only sort of flake I want!

Partners tomorrow .....

I have already started the hunt for chocolate goodies. Because even if I buy a type my partner won't like, I get to eat it for myself Tongue

Best of 2013 winner, but this is just as good.

Smart thinking.  I may have to experiment to find the best chocolate.  After all, how do I know if it's good, if I don't try it first?

Actually, I bought a bunch of chocolate bars with plans on possibly using them for the swap, but alas. Only two have one has survived the munchies.  Definitely need to post  close to the time that I buy chocolate.

It's tempting to use that rational to send half eaten candy bars (after all, I wouldn't want to send a bad batch of usually good chocolate, now would I?).  Fortunately, I'm a teeny tiny bit too mature to send half eaten candy bars.  But apparently not too mature to think about it.  Wink

LOL!

ditto here, no such thing as "half eaten" - if I don't finish it someone else picks it up, says "who left this here" and takes care of finishing it for unlucky me

anything special I am sending is not being purchased until the last minute and I will have to get enough for 5 other people to have some too (my daughter, me, my hubby, me, my other daughter)

I'm excited and I can't wait to see who my partner will be. I hope that this swap goes better than my last one. I kinda feel like I put more effort into the items I crafted than my swap partner did and there was a huge lack in communication  Sad. Hopefully this one will go much better! Theres chocolate involved so it really can't go wrong! Are we allowed to send homemade goodies (like brownies)?

yes, the homemade are allowed!  I asked that too because I have a fantastic brownie recipe that makes my favorite brownies.  I want to try it a new way - adding raspberry!  I am way too excited about this.
