Old CDs / AOL CDs / AOL CD Cases

Okay, this isn't that creative.  But it's a good idea to take an unwanted CD or two on camping or hiking trips to use as a signal mirror if you get lost or injured.  They are better than mirrors because they are lighter and break less easily.  I don't know if you can starta  fire with one, though...For more on how to use a signal mirror, go to:

Plus, a signal mirror should have a hole in it anyway so you can see the plane and direct yor signals accordingly! What a fantastic idea!!

Cool, I'm gonna forward this idea to my daughter.  I bet she'll be glueing CD's to the ceiling before the week is out!

My parents tie them to their young fruit trees to keep the deer from snacking on the bark!

LOL    My grandfather is always asking me for cds for his trees, brilliant things are perfect to scare away birds

I made this for a swap, I painted the cd with sprays, then I glued a small mirror and finally I made the holes for the earrings with a droll.

I coverd them with newspaper and blue tacked them on via my wall.

I couldn't be bothered reading all the suggestions, so sorry if this one's already come up,
my mum uses old cds to make coasters.
you can stamp stuff on the top, or colour photocopy an image and cut it into a circle and glue it one, and then seal it with some sort of sealing substance (don't ask me to name one, i don't know) and then glue cork underneath(the shiney side)
they look great and work brilliantly.
