AWESOME! <3.

I must ask. Because I just bought 2 ink pads at the craft store and they seriously sucked. What kind do you usually go for? *I have a smaller one I use but I don't know what brand/never see the small ones*

I use a Memories dye-based ink pad, but there are some (I think by Ranger Industries) that are water-resistant if that's an issue for you.

I went on my first letterboxing excursion a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun with it.  I was bummed for the box owners that 2 of them had not been sealed well and had gotten wet.

When we stamp in one color, we have a 'Colorbox' stamp pad.  Lately we've been doing multi-color stamps using Marvy markers. (Use your craft store 40% off coupons on these!)

Sorry to hear about the poison ivy.  Unfortunately we're guilty of planting a box in poison ivy.  We planted it in February when the ground was clear, but by late spring the area was covered in the poison.  That's one drawback to planting in cold weather, but we love the bug- and sweat-free hiking that comes with cold weather boxing.

Im certainly interested! I think it would a fun swap. I read about Letterboxing before visiting Portland OR (so many there), but havent gotten out to do it here in NY. But perhaps this will kick my rear in gear.
im gonna go out and get some of that "pink stuff" today or tomorrow. I really wanna make some stamps! >___<

I started reading this thread a few days ago as I never heard of letterboxing before. We now have 3 stamps & are eagerly anticipating more outings.
I'm so down for this swap!
