I loved the Tea Towel Tour (right here at Craftster) so much that I had to learn to embroider too.

Here's my towel. It's mostly backstitch with a little satin stitch and sharpie and whatever felt right  Cheesy. I used Aunt Martha patterns (the cups and tea pot) and then drew everything else on it (I don't know why, but I like the tea bag).

Since this is my first attempt, I'd really appreciate knowing what you think. Thanks!

Try to ignore that it still has pencil marks on it and hasn't been ironed yet.

Thank you for your comments (and they're all positive....YAY!).

I have to crochet a friend a couple dishcloths and then I am going to start on my next towel. It will be either Hooty Owl or Travel themed. Embroidery IS addictive  Cheesy.

That is so great! I like how it looks spontaneous. My favorite is the heart in the steam coming out of the teapot.
