Second round of pottery class (day six and seven total, in case anyone is wondering...)

A little trash can for craft debris.

This little mug had a sort of free-hanging open handle, which sadly broke off during glazing, since I held it by the handle while splattering and didn't stop to think that the glaze would temporarily weaken the clay. I'll glue it back on, but then try to duplicate both shape and glaze.

A pink-and-black mug for my best friend. Ribbed for her pleasure.

I was going for a cow pattern, but this is kind of nice too. And vaguely cow-reminiscent.

This isn't that spectacular, but it was initially the highest cylinder I've achieved, maybe two feet high or something. And I really like the shape. The color is glaze, this is all stoneware.

I think the last one actually is spectacular... I'm imagining it in a simple and beautiful interior, it would be perfect on a wooden floor or so... All of them are beautiful!

Ooooh wow!

They're all gorgeous, but my favorites are number 2 and 3 (so, you can just wrap 'em up and send 'em over here now, thanks!) Grin.

I actually thought the short open handle on the second one was an intentional design - pretty! Will the handle go a lot further down when you fix it?

"Ribbed for her pleasure" Hahaha. You're both funny and make lovely pottery. Cheesy

Beautiful!  I love the idea of the little crafty trash .. and the not-quite-cow jugs are awsome!  I love the pattern!

decibel - The handle curves down maybe two inches. I can post pictures after I glue it on.

ariaya - There's just the one jug, I'm not quite up to making things that match that well yet. But thank you.

I just wanted to say that such big mugs are usually much more spectacular in reality than on photos. Smiley But words in my mind formed a different sentence... Cheesy

Oh, I totally got that. Just wanted to clarify that by "not that spectacular" I just meant that it was a simple shape with a simple glaze.

(Sometimes those are the hardest.)
