Body

Fold in half, wrong sides out.
Sew together along the seams from the tail end, leaving a gap in the head to stuff and place eyes.
Turn right side out, place eyes and stuff.
Sew gap shut.
To form the head ridges, sew a line of running stitches along the head from back to front and pull tight to form a dent. When dent is the right depth, backstitch to hold the stitches in place.

Turn right side out and stuff.
Sew gap shut.
To make fingers/toes, sew 2 lines of running stitch in the wide end as for the head ridges.
Sew to body

Wings
Weave in loose ends and sew short side of the wings to the back of the neck, with the ribs facing the front.
Stitch wings to back partially along the wings to keep them in place.

Tentacles
Fold tentacles in half and use a stitch to bundle the group together.
Sew the group of tentacles to the front of the face.

The pattern can also be found on my livejournal, with a few extra pictures of the pieces. http://sorcha.livejournal.com/200616.html
