That's lovely.  I love your interpretation of the wings; they look nice and kid-friendly. 

I'm glad you think so because that is what I was aiming for. My girls have three or four pairs of the wired wings and they get so bent out of shape and ugly - I wanted something that would hold up a little better to the constant costume changes my girls go through during a normal play time  (not to mention their rough-housing - my girls like dressing up but they are tough and rough like boys).

Oooh, so beautiful.  I had to post because this reminded me of my fairy costume from long ago (which is now torn and stained, but still in service in the big dress-up chest at our summer house...I can still remember how the satin smelled--always a faint whiff of fairy perfume).  I also love the fairy's dirty bare feet!  What a beautiful girl you have.
