Would anyone be interested in doing another verb swap?  I was in the first one, it was a lot of fun!

The first discussion is here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111750

The original swap thread is here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=113568.0

and the gallery is here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=119818.0

basically you pick a verb and then your partner crafts things for you based on that verb.
The original craftster who suggested the idea, Carliegirl, gave these examples:
Quote
FLY:
a pair of wings, a bird design t-shirt, a kite, something with an angel on it, a paper airplane kit....etc.
SING:
something modge-podged with sheet music, bird stationery, a knitted "throat warmer," a microphone pincushion....etc.
JUMP:
a recipe for "Hoppin' John," a pogo stick t-shirt, a handmade jump rope, something with a pair of jumper cables on it, a grasshopper ring....etc.

I think I'd be up for my first endeavor into organizing for this one.
Anyone interested?

The first one was AWESOME, unfortunately I'm not doing any more swaps for the near future. Sad

Yeah, me too.  I'm surprised.  Maybe if we thought up some weird verbs and gave examples to everyone.

My verb last time was 'Shiver'.  My partner made me a hat, mitts, and scarf set. (to stop the shivering).  She also made me a great hot chocolate mix.

Her verb was 'Capture'.  I made her a spiderweb capelet.  A papier mache garden gremlin, and a journal.

The key to this swap would be to think up some weird verbs and how one could craft for the verb.  There were some weird ones last time....I'm trying to remember ... ?defenesterate?  Maybe that was the word.

Yep, defenestrate!  To throw out a window...pretty much the best verb in the world!  My verb for the swap was "sparkle" and my partner's (the very wonderful zendaisy!) was "illuminate."  She made me a purse, a headband, a box and a necklace.  I made her a etched candle holder, a How To Stencil kit and a How To Make Paper kit!

I'm not ashamed at all to say that I had to look up what defenestrate meant.
My verb was "bubble" my partner sent me bubblegum with a cute diagram and directions of how to blow a bubble, some bubble soap, a cute fish bowl magnet, and a circle purse that looked like a bubble.
My partner's verb was "craft"  I sent her a how-to embroider kit, a craft bag, and an "iCraft t-shirt.

I'll have to look, but I'm pretty sure I have a full list of all the verbs from last time.

It does look like a really fun swap. My first month is up tomorrow and I'm still trying to figure out what kind of swap I want to join. And if I should wait until RL things cool down a bit...

verbs...

incinerate
heat
read
bookcross (does that count? Wink)
bounce
bleed
