oh wow how can you not make boxers out of that fabric? are there any not dirty squares? i can just imagine a little kid running around with "see dick play. oh, oh, oh. run jane, run!" on her dress.

I like this Micheal Miller fabric much better as boxers than as the quilt kit you can buy.  Cheesy

Oh gosh!  I made some boxers for the husband for Christmas, but they certainly weren't as funny as those.  I find them especially amusing because in addition to the double entendres, my cat Puff is named after the kitten in those books(which I had in grammar school in the 60's).

I made 3 pair with cowboys, airplanes, and chili peppers.  I agree the fly is tricky.  Oddly, I screwed up the 2nd pair, but not the first.  You did a great job on yours.

I'm hitting "This Rocks!"  I love that fabric, and it is truly made just for boxers!

This is the funniest and coolest thing to happen to underwear since the idea of printing a lover's face on the inside part of the crotch. I have yet to actually do this, but it sounds like fun.

Wow!  Thanks again to everyone!  I've gotten such nice feedback that I almost feel guilty that I didn't design the pattern myself.  I'm in awe of all of you who can just make it up as you go and end up with lovely things! Fabric/clothing is just not something I can wing, I don't think.

I'm going to try to get an action shot of the first pair to post tomorrow.  Wish me luck on that! Grin

I'm just glad to know I'm not the ONLY ONE who notied all the double entendres in that print. I was thinking of using it for a kids project (along with some of the other Dick and Jane prints) but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll bet some fabric designer out there is getting a kick out of all the nostalgic old ladies using that fabric to make blankies for their grandbabies.
