So, today I was sitting there going through some junk in my purse, and I realized that I REALLY needed to throw away my old blush container (i've been out of blush for weeks) but before I did I noticed that the metal part could pop out, and would be perfect for a collage pendant...

So, some scrap fabric, a dried flower I found on the ground several weeks ago, some scrap ribbon, and some Mod Podge and hot glue came together to make this!

I'm so proud of it. It has a victorian-esque feel, to me, but the fabric has frayed edges, which adds a nice urban chic feel....

Let me know what you think. I thought about selling it on etsy, but I'm so attached to it now! haha!

haha! I def. agree! I can't stand the idea of spending tons of money on the "good" stuff... first of all, it normally is not actually good, and secondly, why would I pay money for the things I need when I can just make it all myself... that is, after all, the point of DIY!

I am so happy i realized it before I pitched it... recycling is SO much better than throwing things out!

Good work. If you were to sell it, I would recommend switching to some sort of a chain mount. Maybe you can find an 'aged' metal chain at your local thrift to match the feel.

Awesome. I would also try and put a seal or something over the flower and fabric so the flower wouldnt crumble if you havent done this already...So cute.
