I finally did it. I made a "girl". It's my own pattern, though I borrowed the hair and eye ideas from ElizabethD's Amigurumi book. She's 9 inches tall and I plan to make her clothes. Wink More info at my blog.

Awesome!!!  I still haven't ventured into the 'human' crocheted dolls yet!! I also left a comment on your blog, and have you tried photobucket?  Cause i did that, and under each picture you upload, there's like 4 seperate 'addresses' and copy the last one (IMG one), paste it here and it'll show up.

make today a positive one!

i love her! i've been looking for something to make for a couple of doll happy little girls that i know, barbies are just dangerous, and if i step on one more, theres going to be a plastic doll genocide! Shocked.
they just love things they can dress and then undress, but the plastic ones are kinda on the small side for tiny hands, i think, and i dont particularly care for the ingestability of the bits....

i love the fun hair and the little piggies!
good job!

one mans trash is another girls uncontrollable need to recycle and reuse it!!!

Ahw she's cute, I like her hair.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.
