would someone like to join me for the Frou Frou?Huh
I always feel lonely with my projects. I have also started a SNBHH crochet-along a while ago, but not many people are posting.

I'd be happy about new contributors.

YAY!!!! i'm so stoked.....welcome to the crochet-along.....

what yarn are you using? i am still a bit on the fence about mine. i don't have a LYS and my yarn choice is limited. so i am thinking about using some yarn made by a yarn designer but it's made from different threads and not twisted together, so i am afraid it might be hard to use.

again, i am so happy someone is joining me.....

You've piqued my interest!  I attempted this project twice already.   Roll Eyes Nearly finished one using TLC Lustre (a discontinued acrylic), but it turned out too heavy.  Started another one with Woolease, which doesn't quite meet gauge but is very light, then I cannibalized that yarn for another sweater.

I'd like to start this again but am not sure about the yarn choice.  I'm kind of tired of Woolease and want to try something else.

***Be sure to check the online errata sheet!  The directions in my book said to decrease every 5 rows at the bottom instead of every 7,or something like that.  I didn't realize until I got to the armpits, rrrggh.

and yes, i got all the errata for the book printed out and stored in the book.

thanks

I started this a week ago.  I'm about half way through the arms at the point.  I'm a little nervous about this project because it's the first time I've crocheted anything other than a scarf or bag.  I am using Lion Brand Wool-Ease and like it.  I think my gauge is a little smaller, but I was in between sizes anyhow so I hope it will turn out ok.  You can see my progress here: http://stephanielynnstudio.blogspot.com/2007/09/work-in-progress.html.

Oooh, I'm hoping to start this soon!  I got a bunch of purple Wool-Ease for dirt cheap at Jo-Anns and have been coveting this sweater since last year.  My first attempt was not so successful, but I'm ready to try again!
