Eh, it'll do for a prototype.  There are sorta big holes in the armpits because I picked the stitches up rather than put them on stitch holders <doh>  Putting them on stitch holders will also eliminate the "seam"  I believe.  I think I'll use a smaller needle for the body for the one's I may put up for sale.  I  used a bigger needle A) because this was just a prototype and I wanted to hurry, and B) I was going for a nice open, breathable sweater perfect for early fall, but with the recycled yarn, it's hard to block it into shape when knit on large needles.  So I think I'll use a different stitch pattern next time with a smaller needle.  I think I did pretty well for working without a pattern and never having read a top down sweater pattern before.

Anyway, here she is:

This next one is true color.  The flash was on in the first one, but I didn't want to redo it cause  I didn't want my neighbors to see me  taking pics of myself :hee

This is really nice, I like your colour choice. I still havn;t tackled an adult size sweater, the armpits being one of the intimidating factors, that and I havn't found a pattern that I'm in love with yet. Did you make this pattern yourself?

I really like, too! I like the drape of it and the open gauge.  Is it a raglan?

No, it's not a reglan, it's supposed to be a made up seemless design.  Rose, I'll share when I'm confident with the pattern.  I'm on the third prototype right now and am starting to feel much better Cheesy
