Has any one ever used this pattern?  I'm stuck at the fitting stage, I can't seem to get the sleeve/shoulders big enough to fit my arms through.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I think you will have to cut the arm hole bigger and re-cut the sleeves to be bigger around.

From altering other patterns recently I've figured that the problem I have is that there's too much curve in armholes and sleeves of most patterns.  They do that to eliminate bulk, but I need that extra fabric!  Straightening it out seems to work.  Thank you for reminding me about this, I'll have to try again when I get a chance!

Thank you for sharing that with us! My arms never fit pattern sizes that fit my body. Makes me feel like a freak. It's good to know that so I can make sure to consider that alteration when I work on mine!
