First cardigan ever, really happy Cheesy

It's a really easy pattern, no waist shaping to worry about. Miles of moss stitch though, I don't think I'll touch anything that requires K1 P1 for some time!

This is knit with Jo sharp silkroad aran tweed yarn, on size 6 needles instead of size 7, I knit the 34" size in a smaller gauge to get a 32". I also made it an inch longer.

(also, WTH do you do with your hands when you pose for a photo?! I've got no idea where to put them, that's why it always looks like I'm trying to grab at something sorry Roll Eyes )

ETA: Oops forgot to say this is the minimalist cardigan by Ruthie Nussbaum, it's from interweave knits fall '07

Thanks for the lovely comments! Smiley

It took me 12 days, knitting as much as I could. Go for it, it's a lot of moss stitch and a lot of seaming but worth it, I think. Smiley

I love that cardi, been thinking about making it, but the moss st is making me put it off.

Yours is great - lovely color on you.

I love your first cardi, it looks great on you!
Weird coincidence: I just made my first cardigan using the exact same color  Cheesy Mine is stockinette tough, I have no patience for the moss stitch.
