Ok heres the deal

I just started dating this guy from work.  I heard from the grapevine that he was asking around to get me something for xmas. =)  So I want to do something for him too but nothing too crazy because we are really are not at that stage where I should spend a week making something for him, just something small and cute that shows I thought about him.
Basically he loves animals and nature (kayaking, camping stuff).  I was thinking doing something along those lines.  But any small gift ideas for guys that arent your boyfriend so you dont want to go over the top would be great =)
