I expected this project to take about two hours and it ended up taking two weeks! The pattern is fine, it was just due to my lack of knitting expertise.
Here it is without ribbon

And with ribbon

I had to block it three times to get the waistband to fit over my butt to get to my hips, where it fits fine. It's still a little bit of a struggle, though. haha. I don't know if it doesn't stretch because of the crocheted edging or if my bind off was too tight. But I still like it.

Thanks for looking!

I've been wanting to knit a thong, but I think I may have to order the elasticized yarn.  It's very pretty!

I used silk yarn, not kind in the pattern (but I'm sure it's pretty much the same, right?). I don't know what brand it is, though.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
