HELP! My mom's neighborhood (apartment complex) is having an outdoor decoration contest and she is DETERMINED to win, but she wants me to decorate it all.  She lives on the bottom floor of a two floor/ 4 apartment building.  We've done all the wreaths and outdoor lights, and i was considering making a snowflake curtain to hang from the 2nd floor made of pipe cleaner snowflakes.  Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.  The more unconventional the better!

You could work with ice, if it's cold enough! You take any sort of tin can/pan shape, throw in some water and a variety of winter branches (holly, fir, red berries, etc.). You could even use a string in between the different shapes to make into a garland. I've seen this in a couple places, but I can't quite remember the website.

Also, if you have snow, SCULPTURES! I doubt anyone will take the timeto make snow sculptures, so if you did it would put you right over the top.  Grin

GOOD LUCK!

Meatwad: I'm satan's onion... or scallion, something like that.

Frylock: I think you mean minion.

Meatwad: oh yeah, that's right.

Undecided Philodendron5, I live in Mississippi.  I usually wear a t-shirt on x-mas.  Wink  But I could probably do some faux icey snowey sculpture things. Oh how I long for cold.
