Ok, so receiving day had its ups and downs.

Up: OMG, there is a package almost bigger than I am, and it's for me!

Up: Omgomgomg I see something shiny!

Down: BROKEN?? DAMN YOU USPS! *shake fist at sky*

Yes, unfortunately, my awesomeness loot took a bit of bashing on the way here. 



I cried on the inside. Dancingrabbit stenciled on "video et taceo," on the broken mirror, which I  ADORE. (Elizabeth the I, "I see and keep silent") I think I'll get some new glass cut for the gorgeous frame, and maybe place that shard down at the bottom of the frame.

But the rest of the stash was fine, as you can see, and I'm adoring it all. THANK YOU SO MUCH DANCINGRABBIT!

Alright guys, I received my package from shirmung!  Here are the goodies.

Here's an overview: a little notebook with two pens, soap, a bag, and cold (chocolate!) coins:

I just got my swap package from kiden2, and she made me a Frida Kahlo doll!  It is so frickin awesome, all by hand. She posted photos and some details here:

There were also 4 bottle cap magnets of Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, Che Guevara, and Amelia Earhart (they were on my list too). The images my scanner is capturing of them is too dark, and doesn't really do them justice.  So you will have to take my word that they are quite cool.
I'm tempted to make some more outfits for my little Frida, I'm so inspired by this handmade goodness (after considering a torso-cast briefly, I've decided it's not in the spirit of the doll, and would not mesh with the pleasant expression on her face).

The tissue paper stuck to the soap! 

Lol yeah it did, it's really hot down here and I think it melted a little bit in the mail.  But it doesn't change the fact that it smells awesome, so I don't care!
