My first posted project, I'm so excited.

The top used to be a onesie, which got too short for her so fast she hardly ever got to wear it. I like the way it turned out, but next time I'd make a separate skirt that can be combined with other things.

Thanks for the inspiration, Vegbee and all you other twirly skirt makers, and thanks for looking.

Coffy or bouncy, it's all the same at the bottom of the river.

That's a great idea for a dress! Skirts on my little one end up as boob-tubes at the moment, and I just love the frills.

It's just gathered layers sewn together, right?

Wow, that is so pretty!

I love how you combined all those patterns and all the colors, and still made it not look busy - everything matches perfectly! That sure takes skill. It is a great dress for a little girl - it's cute AND it got attitude! No pastels, and no pinks in particular - very refreshing! It sure looks like a great twirler! I want one too. Wink

How cute your daughter (?) is! And she looks so happy about her dress... Awww!

Again: Good job.

Love it.  Would it be wrong to want a grown up version?
