So I have this desk/table thing in my room and it has taken quite a beating. It was warped and I had a post-it note on it with a phone number and it had gotten wet and the number was stained onto the table, so I sanded it and repainted it with a high gloss which I was kind of if-y on, then I found more black paint and painted on a picture and this is how it turned out.... I'm super pleased with it.

this is what it looked like before I sanded it and all of that good junk... Kinda nasty, I know.







I'm super happy with the way it turned out..

Wow, great job! I love it!

Did you paint some sort of clear protective coat on it? Whenever I paint furniture (I am talking about really plain one-color things and not awesome at all) the paint ends up getting chipped off or sticky.
