So I have this desk/table thing in my room and it has taken quite a beating. It was warped and I had a post-it note on it with a phone number and it had gotten wet and the number was stained onto the table, so I sanded it and repainted it with a high gloss which I was kind of if-y on, then I found more black paint and painted on a picture and this is how it turned out.... I'm super pleased with it.

this is a close up of the painting on it.

this is what it looked like before I sanded it and all of that good junk... Kinda nasty, I know.

I'm super happy with the way it turned out..

Thanks for looking!! Smiley

that's very nice!
Desk tops aren't painted like that nearly often enough.

Gorgeous!  Now you have an awesome one of a kind piece.  I love how you used the design in the space.

Wow, that's gorgeous! I love it! If only I had the talent to do this to my own desk!

So cool. I wouldn't be able to get any work done on it because I'd be distracted by its coolness. Great job!

That's gorgeous - looks more like a work of art than a piece of furniture!

Wow, great job! I love it!

Did you paint some sort of clear protective coat on it? Whenever I paint furniture (I am talking about really plain one-color things and not awesome at all) the paint ends up getting chipped off or sticky.
