Formerly known as: Cool Chicago Crafter Peeps wanna get together?

Are there any cool chicks or dude that live around me (I live near Boystown) that want to get together? I need more artsy friends. I moved here from California almost 4 years ago...I can't believe it's been that long! I'm having a little trouble finding cool people to keep me creative. If anyone likes Brazilian Girls, Social D or Flogging Molly-I'm totally up for concerts!

I just moved to Chicago and was hoping to find some kind of crafty meet-up to help get me out of my little bubble Smiley I went to one a couple times in Providence, where I just moved from, but at that point, I wasn't as mobile with my crafting, so I didn't keep with it. I think its fun to see what other people are working on, and it's good to get out of the apartment. If anyone else would be interested, let me know Smiley

You should come down to the Pilsen Art Walk, there's alway a nice art gathering on the second Fridays.  But there is a huge open house the weekend of Sep. 28 -30th

I'm part of the CAD group

Maybe we'll see you there

I'm also new to Chicago, and seeking to re-build my social circle. I'd totally go to the Pilsen Art Walk, but i'm out of town for the weekend.

Maybe there can be a meet-up arranged if enough bodies are interested?
I live in West Town btw.

Hey there!

A few of us are starting a Craftin' Club the first Sunday of next month (and each consecutive month) at Quiltology.  www.quiltology.com.

We're still putting the details together, but if you would like more info you can contact me at staretoile@gmail.com.

Happy Crafting!

I'm in the northwest suburbs and we have a fun MeetUp every month in Schaumburg: http://craftswap.meetup.com/16/

Inconvenient for many, but come visit with us if you can!  We have fun, do a little simple craft, and chat about craftiness.

Hey there. I'm in Logan Square, and I'd love to have other crafty types to hang out with. I sew, crochet, photograph, and dabble in lots of different things. So yeah, hopefully the Chicago crowd can get something going.

I'd love to meet artsy/craftsters in Chicago!  I spend most my time in Wrigleyville. I enjoy scraping, photography, knitting, painting, repurposing, jewelry making, etc.  And if its artsy and I haven't tried it...I wanna learn!  Lets get something rollin'.   Grin

ATC personal swap? I spy quilt square swap?
