Alright I know this isn't sewing...but I figured this was still the best place for these (if someone else doesn't, just let me know).  Cheesy

It looks like I'm going to be teaching a class on how to do this, so yesterday I made some girly ones to display with my boy's shirts with the sign up sheet(except the one with the shark is for my new nephew).

My Sweet Pea....

And here are some tie-dyed onesies.....

The purple was a lot brighter before it got washed so much.

I just LOVE to stencil things!  It's like instant gratification....well almost.  It does take awhile to cut the stencil out.   Wink

Oooh I LOVE those! Especially the tie-dye ones. The two circle ones remind me of jellyfish.

Those are adorable! Where did you get the hibiscus flower stencil? I'd love to make it an iron-on for my daughter.

I love your stenciling and saw your other post with the boy shirts. I'm wondering what you use to "paint" with. I've never done stenciling but I did use fabric paint pens about 10 years ago but didn't like the way it made the fabric so stiff. I'm sure things have changed since then. If you wouldn't mind sharing.....what products do you use?

Thanks everyone!  Alright, now here are some answers...

Pink fizz....YES!  It's super easy!  You don't have to know how to draw, just trace.  I posted some stenciled shirts for boys a bit ago and added a tute.  Check it out....

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=192078.0

Kiara...I got the hibiscus (and the cupcake--minus Sweet, I added that) at...

http://72.29.83.164/~stencil/stencils.htm

Jen...I just use craft acrylic paint.  Ya now, the kind you find in the craft section at Wal-mart (some people call them tole paints?).  Then I iron the image real good when it dries.  So far this has worked for me, but if someone knows of something better, I'd love to hear about it.

Excellent! Thanks for the info. I should have read your other post more carefully and seen the tute.  Tongue I'm off to go shop and see if I can get my supplies and start stenciling!
