EDIT:  Doo dee doo dee doo...I've just realised I put this in the wrong thread.  Move me please?

So I'm currently in a bit of a  burn-out/need-to-spend-more-time-with-kids induced career transition.  As there's only so much housework to be done (ok - it's never done, I just don't always want to do it) I got a little bored today and put together a circle skirt for the daughter.

Here's the back in all of its zipperless glory:

I sewed a placket into it and placed a button and hole at the top of the placket to secure the waistline (I couldn't see a squirmy ten year old keeping a skirt on with only a ribbon sash holding it up) despite my fear of my buttonholer.

Action shot!:

Took about 35 minutes to put together.
