wow, you inspired me to start Ogee with some leftover cotton-ease that i had lying around. i'm wondering - did you use the size 11 needles called for in the pattern? i've started with them, but it seems like it's awfully loose and floppy. i wonder if i should go down a size? any words of wisdom?

i am definitely in beret heaven with your slouchy seed stitch beret.
also the cloud bolero is quite adorable. How far down does it sit on your torso? because as a short person, i need to have something that hits below the bust line to avoid it looking like a too short cropped sweater lol.

Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.

It ends at my natural waist (narrowest part of your torso), but it would be super easy to make longer (you would just keep knitting until you are happy with the length)...

I love that cloud bolero!  It looks so comfortable, and the colors are great.  Does it drape well?

It's a beautiful day, not a cloud in sight, so I guess I'm doin' all right.

How do you measure a year?

It's very drapey, even with the thick yarn...
